Frieda Gordon has been asked to participate in the 20th annual Spring Seminar sponsored by the California Association of Certified Family Law Specialists which shall be held from April 15-17m 2011 at the Hyatt Grand Champions in Indian Wells, California on the topic of "Just the Facts...An Advanced Course in Family Law Evidence." Frieda's panel will consist of Judge B. Scott Silverman and Commissioner John Chemeleski of the Los Angeles Superior Court who, along with Frieda, will discuss Declarations and Offers of Proof in light of the new laws concerning a litigant's right to present live witness testimony at an Order to Show Cause.
We are pleased to announce the addition of another associate to our roster of attorneys, bringing the total now to five. Erin Zivic was admitted to the California Bar in 2010 after graduating from Southwestern School of Law in Los Angeles, California. As a law student, Erin served as Co-President of the Women Lawyer's Association and Notes & Comments Editor on the Law Review. During law school, Erin worked for the Honorable Judge Mark Juhas and the Honorable Judge Scott Gordon of the Los Angeles Superior Court, providing research and writing assistance in a variety of family law cases. Erin has been with us for over six months working as a law clerk and we are very proud of her professional abilities and wonderful personal qualities. We are also terribly excited and pleased to work with her, get to know her better personally and watch her grow professionally. Erin will be delighted to interface with our clients and the partners to assure the best possible level of care and legal expertise is provided.
